An average lunch in our house

This is an average lunch here. It's healthy and keeps the kids happy. Nothing really exciting or over the top, but it works! Turkey and cheese whole wheat wraps (with a little mayo for Cameron and Wyatt of course), "bugs on a log" (celery, all natural peanut butter and raisins) and strawberries. I usually put lettuce and tomato on it for Cameron and Wyatt as well, because they like it, but we don't have any tomatoes today :).

It's a great kid friendly meal, assuming your children do not have allergies to peanut butter or strawberries!

I have "melt in your mouth" sausages (yes, it does sound a little dirty, doesn't it?) in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. If that comes out well I'll post that recipe this evening.

MM Strawberries. Man, my kids are so picky.. I have a difficult time getting them to eat anything remotely healthy, though we have come a long way from where we were a year ago. They finally will eat celery with peanut butter (but no raisins!) and they don't like most fruit lol And carrots with ranch dressing. Actually, Simon skipped the ranch and decided ketchup was the way to go. lol
