Waking up to a beautiful smiling baby every morning is what makes every bit of the hard work I do so very worth it. Hearing my boys play together is what makes every bit of the hard work I do so very worth it. Little kisses and little giggles are what makes every bit of the hard work I do so very worth it. This is what I was made to do.
This morning I was apparently very motivated! I cleaned the whole downstairs, including completely cleaning the half bathroom and vacuumed everything as well as dusted. The boys lunch is already made and in the fridge waiting for lunch time to come around. Alex's school work has had a few bumps here. He's been really whiney. I told him to go take a nap and we'll finish up here soon. Rather than fight with him, I'll let him get some rest so we can finish it on a better note. Speaking of homeschooling. I'd like to plan a couple of field trips soon. The Aquarium for Science and maybe going to visit the historic parts of Charleston for Social Studies as well. My boys do so much better with hands on/visual learning. I think most children do really.
While changing Zayne's diaper earlier I realized why he has had a runny nose. He has 2 of his top molars coming in! This boy only has 4 front teeth right now and he is almost 17 months old, so it's a little exciting!
Now I am off to help with more school work!
