Homemade Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
- 9-ish small - medium apples
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup uncooked oats
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 Earth Balance Soy Free Buttery Spread
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Grease 13x9 glass baking dish
- Peel, Core and Cut apples into thin slices
- Mix all dry ingredients together
- Cut cold butter into small pieces and mix it together with dry ingredients until it crumbles. (I like to kneed and squish it by hand to get it mixed well.)
- Sprinkle mixture over apples
- Bake for approximately 35 minutes until browned
- Serve with vanilla ice cream (Vanilla Coconut Ice Cream is good too.)
